There are also many types of DVR and again it is important that the correct hard drive size and true frame rate are suitable for you installation

Monitor

A good monitor is needed because this is the bit you see. You can have the best DVR and cameras but they will not look good unless you have a good monitor

Again it doesn't pay to make cuts on this equipment if you want a good reliable CCTV system
